During ACTE and afterwards for a few days of holidays, we stayed at the Lexington. To me this is one of your best choices when you travel to New York on business or leisure. The value for money you get is really great and even better when you are a Marriott Rewards member since it will give you the Marriott rewards but at the same time keep the unique character of the Lexington.
Ideally situated for the midtown area (Lexington and 48th) so you can walk to a lot of places in midtown yet you are not in the busiest part (around Times Square).
The hotel is large enough to have enough offers in room types and prices yet manages to keep a small intimate feel about it. The rooms are not small by any means – OK the bathrooms are but which bathroom in New York is roomy? Amenities are good and when you have the right room type you get a Keurig coffee maker on top.
Most of all, everyone you’ll meet at the hotel is very friendly and helpful.
Can you tell my heart is sold?
Thank you Geert for the review of the Lexington New York, an Autograph Collection hotel. Glad to see you started posting on ‘The roads I travel’ again.
